Hints and Tips for Electrical and Optical Characterization of OLEDs

Available on demand
This web-based seminar focuses on important basic measurement approaches and methods for electrical and optical characterization of organic light emitting materials, devices, and displays

In this seminar, you will learn and understand:

  • Basic OLED materials, display types, and approaches to electrical characterization
  • Tips for electro-optical characterization:
  • Forward and reverse bias I-V & I-V-L curves
  • DC and pulsed transient I-V-L measurements
  • Carrier mobility and charged trap effects on transient response and settling time
  • Guarded low current measurement approaches and when to use them
  • Four-wire sense measurement approaches and when to use them
  • Distinction between relative intensity, illuminance, and luminance measurements

In addition, complete test system examples, including a basic DC IVL characterization system and a high throughput, parallel source pixel array tester will be covered.
